Poor Jenkins, a demure and utterly unlucky young man, is somehow used to his persistent bad luck, while on the other hand, the bubbly Lou, a lively young woman, is preposterously favoured by a continuous touch of fortune. However, when the two opposites accidentally bump into each other (literally) in the slopes of San Francisco, as if by magic and a twist of fate, the bad days of jinx and misfortune will be a thing of the past.Written by
What would happen if a jinx of a guy and a lucky go girl met? How would they meet? How their extraordinary negative and positive energies would mix or balance? That is the interesting stating story of this animated vignette set in hilly San Francisco.
You know, there is nothing I hate about this short, but nothing I like either. Yes, there is a good dose of cuteness, a bit of adventure and funny not-so-funny moments. But that is all. There is not real narrative. This is just a long gag full of clichés, and stereotypical characters.
The CGI animation is very good, movement of the characters, landscaping, and so on, but not excellent either. To me that would not matter at all if the narrative, characters and overall story were interesting. They are not, to me.
