Quotes

Parker: Why do you look human?
Joe: Why do you look Sednian?
Parker: Fair enough. You have great hair.
Joe: I know, but are you still sick like the last earthling?
Parker: I'm not sick and neither was that guy, he's dead.
Joe: Dead? Impossible.
Parker: Possible.
Joe: My books say differently, that the dead don't come back to life and they don't eat each other.
Parker: My books say you should be a little green man with a giant head and bug eyes.
Joe: You are a very offensive, little earthling.

Zombies vs. Joe Alien: Better than it perhaps should have been
20 November 2017 | by PlatypuschowSee all my reviews

Zombies vs Joe Alien otherwise known as Alien vs Zombies is comedy above all else. Though it does contain adult humor this is a very light hearted affair.

Telling the story of Joe, an alien who comes to earth on holiday during the zombie apocalypse and using his time travel powers seeks to save the world.

It's cheesy, it looks like a Scyfy original but it has a real charm about it and some of the humor is oddly on point.

It's one of those films that should have been terrible but by hook or by crook it actually came out half way decent.

The cover is a lie, the zombies don't look anywhere near that good, Joe doesn't look like that (No veins, no glowing eyes, no face paint) and it's far lighter than the intense cover suggests.

Go in with no expectations and you might find a laugh but do not watch on the hopes of it being a zombie movie because it truly isn't.

The Good:

Some great humor

Brilliant Quantum leap homage

The Bad:

Poor zombies

Dishonest cover
