Don't listen to all negative comments
The movie is not so bad if you like previous versions of The Grudge. It is what it is The Grudge in american way. Besides it is a horror movie that is not a comedy (finally). Of course there are some things that should have been rewritten in scenario, but overall it is not a bad movie if you don't expect too much from it.
