awful

I watched the first 2 episodes and I can not believe this b.s. This takes place in central to east Texas not in some desert in some other state. The Alamo did not sit by it's lonesome. It was and is in a tree covered rolling hills area by a river. Goliad is not in the desert either. No buffaloes in Nacogdoches just hills and trees. Nothing about the locations is any where accurate. I guess the battle of San Jacinto will be in the desert also? This is like something Peter Jackson did to the lord of the rings and the hobbit. Being a Texan I am highly insulted as any real Texan should be. If someone is going to make a movie about history they should go to the area no just rely on their fantasy of what the places look like. Some people think they can read a little about a subject and make a film about it when in reality they do not have a clue and should be in another line of work. Where Houston was camped in the first episode they have no high cliffs and desert. This is the most inaccurate piece of tripe the History Channel has had.
