      Lauren Graham plays Gaby, Oscar's ex wife. Matthew Perry and Lauren Graham are very good friends and dated briefly in the past. She also appeared in Go On (2012), in which Matthew Perry starred too. Graham also had a guest spot on Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip in which Matthew Perry's character asks her out, and she accepts, albeit unwillingly.

      The outside shot of Oscar's apartment building looking up at the sky shows the Empire State Building pretty much right next to it, however, the window view from his apartment shows the Empire State Building off in the distance, with the Chrysler Building closer.

    Has gotten better and better
    This show has grown on me. The first season seemed not so funny, but as I have allowed the characters to grow, the show seemed to get funnier. Thomas Lennon has really been showing his acting attributes, and looking back on his other movie and TV roles, he is a pretty funny guy. Good chemistry between Thomas and Matthew. Wish it would ha e done better for them.
