When Castle and Becket apply for their marriage license they find out that Becket is already married. They have to track down the "husband" and get him to sign divorce papers, but two groups of armed thugs also want him. Meanwhile, back in New York, multiple calamities strike that could delay the wedding, but Alexis, Lanie, and Martha find creative solutions. Finally, Becket is at the church waiting for Castle. ITA with the other reviews on how awful this episode was. i thought i had saved the episode to watch for when i needed a "favorite" show to enjoy!! needless to say this was NOT enjoyable on any level. as a matter of fact i needed everything i had to continue watching until the pathetic ending. normally i refuse to force myself to watch awful content. i hope i can remember to care enough to watch next season. at this point i don't even care if they marry each other as long as they continue to work together. to end up having the wedding in the hamptons after all the dumb drama about choosing a site ? although i will give a plus on the mention of the transportation of the "mostly flown in" guests by alexis. i wonder exactly who had kate's number to call her directly about her fiancé's tragic accident DURING her wedding instead of having someone break the news gently to her and why did all the people at the wedding who love them allow her to go to the scene alone!!! personally, if anybody thinks it's believable that the just arrested mobster put out a hit on rick from FBI custody, that it's the 3x killer, or bracken getting even by tracking them to the wedding--well i won't have that either. after all these years i need a whole lot more than just the joy i felt when that horribly ugly dress was destroyed!! this should have been an episode of love, humor, and romance for everybody in the cast.
