Very Interesting Concept with a Touch of Cute

Divorce Insurance as the title spells out is a super complex concept to delve into as divorce in Korean culture is seen mostly as unacceptable. The best part of the drama was the use of the romcom genre to play lightheartedly into this theme while still delivering key messages that divorce isn't the end all be all but there can still be happiness at the end of the journey for couples.

The irony of using this genre is having the characters fall in love within the theme of divorce but Lee Dong-Wook reminds us why he's king. He's a talented actor that brings out a new side of Lee Ju-Bin as she begins to star in lead roles. Let's also not forget that sometimes prior roles for Lee Kwang-Soo maybe played too much into his personality as seen on shows like Running Man. Here - we finally have a role that allows him to shine more professionally and I loved it.

If you want a show that's easy to watch but gives you butterflies if you think broadly about the messages they are trying to deliver, highly recommend.

    Refreshing to watch

Okay hear me out this drama is actually really good. I started divorce insurance just out of curiosity and now i'm four episodes in and honestly i'm really enjoying it. It's refreshing and kind of quirky but in a really good way. Like it doesn't feel like it's trying too hard you know it just flows nicely. The vibe is light but still has meaning and the concept is really cool. Marriage with insurance? Sounds wild but it works. It's new and fun and definitely different from all the typical stuff out there and i like how it doesn't get too serious even though it totally could. The leads are amazing. They have this natural chemistry that just works. It's not overly dramatic or cliché, it feels more grounded and that makes it even better. I'm hoping their story builds into something great. The pacing is slow yeah but honestly i'm okay with that. It makes sense and doesn't feel like a drag. It gives time for the story and characters to grow and i like that. And it's not a typical love story which is such a relief. I'm actually excited to see how the romance develops, hoping for that cozy warm feeling without it becoming too much. Till now i've only watched four episodes but i'm already really into it. It's simple, fun, and something different. Hoping all the episodes stay this good because if they do, this might end up being one of my favs. If you're looking for something that feels fresh and a little unexpected but still easy to enjoy, i'd say give divorce insurance a try.

    Funny, Refreshing and Entertaining!

If you want to relax, laugh a lot with the characters, if you want to giggle and if you like the cliché moments that makes you fall in love, you should definitely check out this drama. The casting choices are very well done! It's a great show if you are looking for something light and rejuvenating that is also quite touching at times.

Worth the watch y'all! Go for it, you won't regret it. And of course, it's LeeDongWook <3.

There are so funny , cute and touchy moments ! I also liked the message of the story. I would not change anything !!

Definitely a show that lived up to its reputation, and I absolutely loved it.

    A Creative and Quirky Rom-com

First of all, I recommend watching this in the original Korean with English subtitles. The English voiceovers ruin the performances by the actors and throw off the overall tone of the interactions.

The premise of the series is unique and I appreciate the creativity of the show. It portrays divorce as something not to be ashamed of and I think it's easy for people, even in this day and age, to still view divorce as taboo. They highlight the importance of self-awareness and effort when it comes to a relationship, which is easily forgotten if couples have been together for a long time. The concept of this series really is refreshing.

The insurance jargon can be a bit much in the beginning, but the show provides explanations and you don't really have to be an expert to understand what the characters are trying to accomplish. Speaking of the characters, I love the chemistry between the actors. Particularly the love/hate bromance between Noh Ki-jun (Lee Dong-wook) and An Jeon-man (Lee Kwang-soo). They are ridiculous and hilarious together! Overall, it's a cute rom-com that provides a unique examination of divorce.

    Dissapointing

I think casting is a big problem here, missing the chemistry.. You feel romace and comedy are both forced and not reactionary..The director is so overacting althought he was great in LIFE.. the sexond lead male actor is either eating or grumpy in every scene.. I don't know exactly how this would be funny... Compared to the same kind of drama (e.g touch your heart) honestly..!!!!!!!No comparison at all... I am trying to complete the episodes but honestly I can't.. I don't know why these decent actors played this drama... directing is terrible...The rythm.. the introduction... everything is out of details.. All actors are underperforming.. even LDW appears infashionable in most of the scenes..

I gave 4 because of some good scenes and because every effort should be appreciated..
