Storyline

Without a doubt, the concept and the standards of beauty have changed throughout the years, and what used to be generally accepted, has evolved in our modern societies. Unfortunately, however, this tremendous pressure women face daily to meet with society's ever-changing beauty canons, coupled with a persistent and compelling obsession which fans the pursuit of the eternal youth, eventually, can turn into punishment. Who says a woman should change her figure to be beautiful? Written by Nick Riganas

precise simplicity
27 November 2017 | by See all my reviews

simplicity is a beautiful virtue for each short film. in this case, it represents more than an inspired choice. because it reminds Gulliver travels. same bitter irony, same precise diagnosis. it is a film about beauty. or about appearances. or about body as clay. and the final fall. nothing new. nothing surprising. and this does "Supervenus" a must see one.
