Finally, graduated and off to Croatia. It's supposed to be the "party of their lives." But for Julia and her friends their graduation trip turns into a horror trip, from which not everyone will return.
Steve, a young professional snowboarder, ruins a high-paying photoshoot with a silly prank, causing him, his girlfriend Branka and fellow snowboarder Josh to be left behind on the mountain. They seek shelter in a garish, loud aprés-ski tavern that is hosting an all-night party for the last night of the season. Things go from bad to worse when a scientific experiment conducted by a local entrepreneur unleashes an epidemic of zombies and mutant wildlife, but this is mostly lost on the local drunkards as they themselves are not always so easy to distinguish from zombies. Steve, Branka and Josh have to find a way to survive this hellish night. Finally, their epic battle for survival leads to them having to use their snowboarding skills to defeat the raging aprés-ski zombies once and for all.Written by
When an experiment goes unexpectedly wrong, it leads to an all out zombie invasion on top of the beautiful snowy Austrian Alps. Attack of the Lederhosen Zombies puts a different twist on my expectations of a typical zom com.
Its funny, thrilling and makes you want to keep watching to find out who gets devoured next. It's gory as you might have expected from the trailer but not as terrifying as some other zombie movies. The zombie fighting scenes were definitely gory and gruesome but the way the characters fought for survival with their snowboarding stunts and cutting-edge tricks was extremely entertaining to watch.
I also really liked that there was a romantic aspect in this movie that you normally don't see in most zombie flicks. The relationship between the two main characters made the movie appear more real to me. I loved how they put their differences aside to battle the blood hungry zombies together. Overall, I thought it was a great film and would recommend if you're an indie horror fan.
