Well, 1.5 months later, Matt and his team delighted us with a new "exclusive" episode.: "The Past and the Furious".
As soon as the release of this episode was announced, it was already clear what would be in it. I will not write the plot and synopsis.
(you have both above), so I want to tell you right away what feelings this episode left after watching.
It was a very unique and interesting episode, with the concept of time travel, which is also very encouraging. Also, what
can be praised for this episode is the pleasant atmosphere of the past, which is achieved by its peculiar drawing
and tone. It was interesting to watch Lisa trying to prevent the environmental disaster that occurred in Springfield.
That's commendable. It was also interesting to follow the young Monty Burns, who, before his moral decline
, was a cheerful and positive person singing in a jazz band. (Real fans know that Burns' moral decline
happened even earlier - in childhood, when he had a choice: who to stay with, with his parents or
with a rich man. He chose the latter (season 5, episode 4), most likely this contradiction is due to the fact that
the actions of "The Past and the Furious" take place in an alternate universe).
What you can scold this episode for is the predictable of the plot and the small number of jokes.
My verdict is quite a decent episode, not deserving of such a low rating.
