Melo Movie

I love kdramas and I have seen the main leads in other shows and I know they have great potential However, it seemed wasted on this show, the main reason was it missed opportunities to further develop the characters, and needed more action from them. The emotions didn't translate as well and couldn't connect on a deeper level with them, needed a narrative of who they all were in the past. Parents death, brother suicide, relationship broken (this did not need so much air time) - do we/can we fix this or move on? Poorly executed.

To sum it up, they all felt like walking at the same speed - and couldn't tell them apart. Would have liked to see stronger reactions, timings at key points but it was too slow towards the final 5 episodes. Started well then crashed.

A shame as I love the cast.

As soon as I saw the movie cast and I found that this movie is directed by hotel del luna director and written by our bellowed summer writer I started waiting for this drama.

This is by far the best overall drama in recent time which doesn't stretch anything and makes viewers feel all kind of emotions.

All the characters development is great and their bond with other is just awesome especially the special moments between two brothers.

Overall this is a much watch drama which tick all the boxes have great cast(everyone acting is perfect) ,awesome story and literally the chemistry between all the characters is perfect.

I finished all 10 episodes in one go and still mesmerized with this drama .it made me feel something different, it is just toooo good.

Love the main actors- but very slow start and slow development of characters. Story-line was good, but seemed to take a long time to get there. Not sure about main character's chemistry-seemed more like "friend" vibe/connection.

Second lead's romance had better "romantic" connection but got tired of male's constant sadness over being left behind, and hard to follow what was really happening between them.

Entertaining though if you can get through first few very slow moving episodes. Held my interest to see where the story would go. Was just a bit more hopeful that this series would be more engaging.

The timeline on this is hard to follow, but it seems like the actors should be late 30s, almost 40, but they act more like late teens early 20s.

The premise was cute, but by episode three, I've lost interest and I keep checking how much time is left.

It's the same old same old misunderstanding type of rom-com that I've seen too many of.

It also feels more like an anime format than a movie.

Good for high schoolers, I guess, but at 60+, I'm out.

I always have a problem here with character limit. Everything is either too short or too long. Don't ask me why someone thought that was a good idea. Thank you for your patience.

Great series all the way until the end. Too much left unresolved. Some of the storylines resolved horribly. Acting was good, which made it bare able in the end. I was left think, ok there should be 2 to 3 more episodes. Loved Park Bo-young and Choi Woo-shik. The way each Episode ended was kind of confusing with time flow. So watch all the way to credits or you'll miss something. The soundtrack was excellent and was another plus for the series. I really think Melo movie could do with a second season. So if you're looking for a short series that's just okay, this is it. It won't get you hooked on K-dramas, but it will help past a boring weekend.
