Sex & Nudity

  • There are a couple moderate sex scenes. Neither of the scenes contains graphic detail. One of the scenes occurs on the pilot's seat of a plane in flight.
  • Barry Seal moons (shows his butt to) his family a few times. This is played for comedic effect.
  • There is a brief shot of an outdoor party where bare male and female backsides can be seen briefly.

Violence & Gore

  • Violence is mostly implied rather than shown visually throughout the film.
  • All the action scenes in the film are of a non-violent nature.
  • A car explodes and a man is killed. Not graphic
  • A man is in a car and another approaches with a gun. He points the gun at the window and the scene freeze frames and we hear a gunshot. The man is killed.

  • Although this film focuses on drugs, little drug use is shown on-screen. However, there are several verbal drug references throughout the film, mostly for ironic effect.
