The marshals needs to make a deal with Boyd to take down Darrell Crowe Jr., but Dewey unexpectedly gets in the way. Meanwhile, Ava's enemies in prison begin to make their move against her.
And with that, the season doesn't wander so much as careens toward dramatic resolution. The missing heroin in play, Boyd and Wynn under the gun by the Mexican cartel, Ava out of options, the Crowes on their way out even as the family crumbles . . .
Everything is suddenly in focus as Raylan becomes desperate to bag Darryl Crowe and everyone else just becomes pawns on that chessboard. It's a thrilling hour of TV and the dialogue (ranging from witty banter to heavy speechifying) is classic "Justified".
