Nabeel, the gay son of conservative immigrants, spent the first seventeen years of his life in fear of his abusive mother. Although he reached out for help, social services were unable to do anything. This one of a kind documentary explores Nabeel's past, questions how it will affect his future, and examines how it relates to the way child abuse is handled in America.
