In the video store flashback scene from 1996, we see Pam standing by a sign that says "Laserdisc - the future of entertainment" yet there are also DVDs for sale and rent. The DVD was introduced in the United States in 1997, they were only introduced to certain regions and the players were well beyond 200 dollars a piece.
