The Teacher's Diary

Teacher's Diary, is a typical Thailand drama movie, with a common concept. At the beginning, I laughed a lot while watching this, considering a drama, it contains quite a handful jokes with a good proportion.

After a considerable amount of jokes, then comes the serious part, even though the serious part already coming, they still giving some jokes element in the middle, this is quite good actually, because the jokes aren't overriding the drama element and the romance as well.

The plot itself, usually I got to guess the ending correctly just by watching the beginning and middle part of a movie, but this one is unpredicted, well all in all this is a good movie.

The characters connection, from one another makes us(watchers) feel a warm and sometimes touched by the reality shown in this movie(floating school for poor people).

In the end, The Teacher's Diary: 9/10, is a warm, touching and funny movie.

Teachers diary is a fresh take on romedy Have only seen few other romedy that manages to have almost everything perfect like... THIS movie moves you,makes you smile and makes you feel good.

If it doesn't you are a stone.

The plot is well written but it did at a point or two become a little too much...ah but didn't gave myself a chance to argue with that

The lead pairs acting were so good and so compelling and the kids....just adorable

The balance between romance, humor, and drama makes the film engaging, though some may find the storyline a bit predictable. Ploy Chermarn's performance as Ann is convincing, showing a warm and determined character who is passionate about teaching. Bie Sukrit, in his first major film role, does an admirable job portraying Song's transformation from an unsure teacher to a man deeply connected to his work and emotions. However, their chemistry feels slightly off due to their lack of direct interactions.

Interestingly, Weir Sukollawat, who plays Ann's ex-boyfriend, adds another layer of complexity to the love triangle. His presence occasionally overshadows Song, emphasizing the contrast between Ann's past and present emotional struggles. The film carefully balances these dynamics, ensuring that each character's role in the story remains meaningful without disrupting the central romance. While it may not be as intense as classic romantic dramas like Il Mare, it carries its charm with lighthearted warmth and heartfelt storytelling.

For fans of GTH films, this movie delivers the signature feel-good experience, but those who prefer realistic, less idealized romances may find it overly sentimental. Overall, The Teacher's Diary is a touching, beautifully shot film that will resonate with those who appreciate nostalgic, slow-burning love stories.

Good, the storyline is quite different from other films. It's interesting

Everyone knows the love story plot. Boy meets girl. Something bad happens and boy looses girl. Yet, they get back together. But then something very bad happens and boy really seems to lose girl. At the end (usually at an airport) the boy and girl somehow manage to get back together for the happy ending. The only exception to this plot formula is the Chinese version where boy meets girl and the rest is up to fate. "Teacher's Diary" is amazing just for the plot structure alone. It follows the standard love story plot but the fabulous creative element is that the boy and girl never actually meet until the final scene. This is genius and I loved it. Even if you're not a writer and don't know that there are only ten plots and every movie you see is just one of those ten plots with different characters, it doesn't matter. This is a good movie with comedy and character and worth all of the 8 stars I'm giving it.
