Love's Coming

This is a surprisingly good movie. The story revolves around three high school friends who suspect another friend of being gay, and think that he's in love with his neighbor. With the help of "auntie Lek," an older gay man, they set up an elaborate plan to discover their friend's sexuality, and then to set him up with the handsome neighbor.

The lovely part is that far from wanting to harass their friend, they just want him to be happy. So as it becomes apparent that in fact he is gay, and he's in love with the neighbor, the three friends become matchmakers to try to get the two together, even enlisting the neighbor's ex-girlfriend into the plot.

This movie is pure pleasure. Lots of funny routines of the friends acting, well, like high school boys, drinking together, playing pranks on each other, and teasing each other about romantic entanglements. All the characters are sympathetic and good-hearted, and all of them handsome as well. The result is funny, sweet, and good-natured throughout.
