Franklin and Mike find themselves trapped in the undead-infested Cyrene City, where they must attempt to lead a group of unconventional survivors to safety. As they join forces with the likes of a pregnant woman, a moronic arms dealer, and a mentally challenged man, they will have to determine which is worse: relying on each other or succumbing to the zombie mayhem. While this uprising of zombies has overwhelmed the city, Mr. Roberts, the CEO of R2 Pharmaceuticals, has sent in a team of mercenaries known as the S.I.E.G.E into Cyrene City to recover the only known antidote for his own financial gain. Not Another Zombie Movie... About the Living Dead is a hilarious twisted tale about survival versus morality during a zombie apocalypse. Watch as these survivors discover there is no such thing as a hero when zombies are trying to eat your face off.Written by
Not Another Zombie Movie....About the Living Dead: Actually has its moments
I've been torn about this one, when it's good it's really damn good but when it's bad it's pretty poor stuff.
This very low budget zombie effort tells the standard story of a group of people who band together during the outbreak, the lack of budget shows at every turn from the sfx to the beyond belief bad sound balancing.
Regarding the sound balancing there are no words to describe how bad it is, you pretty much need to sit there with the remote control constantly making up for it.
So what does it have going for it? Great performances and some really good writing. I was stunned just how much I ended up laughing, this is some really good stuff.
Sadly it's not consistent and you'll find yourself waiting for the next laugh and what comes in between is standard comedy free zombie stuff.
Not Another Zombie movie is a good enough watch for fans of the genre but be prepared for a mixed bag of brilliance and mediocrity.
Some genuine laughs
Peanut was hilarious
CGI is appalling
Audio balancing is very very poor
A lot of filler between the laughs
Doesn't have an ending
Things I Learnt From This Movie:
Osama Bin Laden as Indian
To avoid becoming a zombie stop, drop and roll
