Trivia
Onward from episode 15, the four young supporters of Capeta at his local kart circuit are named after Formula One drivers - they are Kunimitsu (Kunimitsu Takahashi), Kazuyoshi (Kazuyoshi Hoshino), Satoru Nakayama (Satoru Nakajima) and (Mika Hakkinen). Kunimitsu strongly resemble Lewis Hamilton during his karting era and wears a karting suit resembling those worn by McLaren at the time.

Alternate versions
The TV version presents the show sponsors, thanking them after the opening credit and at the end of the next episode preview. This is omitted in the DVD version.

PROBABLY ONE OF THE MOST UNDERRATED ANIME

THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST ANIME THAT AIRED ON THE TELEVISION. THIS ANIME MADE ME CRY AT TIMES ND ONCE YOU WATCH IT IT WILL TOUCH YOUR HEART. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND EVERYONE TO WATCH THIS ANIME, IT DIDNT GET THE VIEWERSHIP IT DESERVED.
