Based on the internet phenomenon created by a user entering in a photoshop competition back in the early 2000s. The photo inspired an attempted murder, with two girls claiming they tried to sacrifice their friend to please "Slenderman," several YouTube movies and mini-series, a large fan base, fan writings dubbed "Creepypasta," loads of fanart, merchandise and now a movie.

Not sure what all the hate is about for this movie. Flay is quite decent and entertaining.
