Trivia

He-Man disguises himself in the armor of a Mutant Trooper. He used the armor of the similar looking Horde Trooper in She-Ra: Princess of Power: She-Ra Unchained (1985). Both troopers were visually inspired by the Stormtroopers from Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope (1977) and like those, both were originally meant to be soldiers wearing protective armor, rather than the robots they eventually became in She-Ra: Princess of Power (1985). The similarity between the Horde and Mutant Troopers was eventually explained by a retcon when the Masters of the Universe Classics line revealed that Tri-Solar Galaxy was part of the Horde Empire and the Evil Mutants were working for the Evil Horde all along.
