- Francois wants to help Cap'n Turbot take a picture of a rare bird.
- Pups and the Beanstalk:
As the story opens, Marshall and Rubble are helping Farmer Yumi with planting seeds, while Chickaletta eats them before Yumi shoves her off for eating the seeds, and Chickaletta scoffs at Yumi before getting scared off by Alex Porter as he pretends to be a giant. Yumi decides it is really hot out, and decides to take a break. Rubble goes to sleep under a large tree, but as he dozes off, he takes one more look at Alex, then falls asleep.
As the scene transitions to Rubble's dream, he's awoken by Marshall, who is rising into the air on a huge beanstalk. Rubble orders Marshall down, but Marshall is unsure, until he sees Alex, now a giant straight out of Jack and the Beanstalk, climbing down. Yumi catches Marshall as he falls, and while Alex does his best to avoid causing damage, Marshall and Rubble decide to call Ryder. Once Ryder sees the situation, he summons the pups to the Lookout. Marshall is bounced inside by Alex's thundering footsteps, and the pups are in shock as Alex watches them go up the elevator. Once topside, it's clear all six pups are needed for this situation, but as they deploy, Alex interrupts the deployment as he helps Rubble down into his rig. As the team takes off, Ryder suggests they split up to cover more ground.
They soon find Alex playing with Cap'n Turbot's ship, the Flounder, but after getting him to put it down, he wanders off again, this time to City Hall to have some fun with Mayor Goodway (specifically lifting the roof off the building and grabbing her, believing it to be a game of hide-and-seek) before helping her find Chickaletta (by flinging her into Farmer Yumi's farm, where she safely lands on a pile of hay). Alex later wanders off to get some lemonade from the cup that's part of the lemonade stand's display, but leaves disappointed to his grandfather's restaurant for some fruit smoothies instead. Seeing that Alex loves his grandfather's smoothies, Ryder gets an idea on how to get him back up the beanstalk. Rubble and Rocky head off to get fruit from Farmer Yumi, while Chase and Marshall will recover the giant lemonade cup that Alex discarded earlier to use to lure him back up the beanstalk. Chase and Marshall are delayed heading to do their part when Alex picks up Chase's truck and plays with it, much to Chase's annoyance as Alex is tampering with official police property, and imitating a siren that neither Chase nor Marshall use. Alex finally sets Chase down, and off he and Marshall go.
They soon have things ready as Marshall fills the lemonade cup with the smoothie, and Skye airlifts it to get Alex's attention, as he was busy playing with Mr. Hudson and his train at the time. Skye is able to lure Alex back to the beanstalk, and back up for good. After a few tense moments of waiting to see if Skye comes back down, Skye returns safely, and the pups cheer. A loud burp from Alex ends the celebrations as he pardons himself and thanks the pups for playing with him. Afterwards, as Ryder congratulates the pups, the scene transitions back to reality from Rubble's dream as Rubble is awoken by Marshall, who's using his hose as a sprinkler to water the crops.
Rubble is still coming to from his dream, believing it was real, and tries to explain what he saw in it to everyone, but Ryder decides that Rubble needs to lay off the treats before bed. However, he assures Rubble that if he ever has another wild dream again, he can always turn to the PAW Patrol for help, ending the story as Rubble laughs at that assurance.
Pups Save the Turbots:
As the pups enjoy another day at the beach, Marshall suffers another of his clumsy crashes, and believes he is so dazed, he is seeing four legs on Cap'n Turbot instead of two. When he comes to, he finds that Cap'n Turbot is joined by his French cousin, Francois Turbot. It is also revealed that Cap'n Turbot's first name is Horatio. While Francois Turbot soon befriends the pups, and gains the admiration of Skye, Cap'n Turbot is on the lookout for the blue-footed booby bird.
While Cap'n Turbot tries to find the booby bird, Francois has some fun kite flying. Seeing Skye's adoration for Francois, Rubble tries to get her attention back by trying to imitate Francois, to little success. Wally soon helps Cap'n Turbot find the booby bird, but in his excitement, Cap'n Turbot falls off the Flounder, while the booby bird flies away. Worse, he left the Flounder in gear, and the boat takes off without him. He tasks Wally with telling Ryder of the situation, and the walrus does just that.
Wally soon finds Ryder, and Ryder is able to translate Wally's charades into learning of Cap'n Turbot's plight, and assures Wally that he'll call the pups. With that, Ryder calls the pups to the Lookout, and after Marshall and Rubble crash into the elevator, with Marshall gaining Rubble's beret and facial features from his Frenchman outfit, they reach the top and get their orders. Skye and Zuma will head out to help save Cap'n Turbot and get him back the Flounder. With that, the team deploys, and soon are able to rescue Cap'n Turbot, while Ryder commandeers the Flounder and is able to stop it.
Francois soon crash-lands on the ship, and agrees to help Cap'n Turbot find the booby bird. With Skye's help, the booby bird is soon spotted at its nest, but Francois takes off without being warned off the booby bird's sensitivity. As a result, when Francois takes the booby bird's picture without permission, the bird goes on the attack, causing Francois to soon be hanging from the cliff by one hand. Skye flies Cap'n Turbot in via her harness to try and save Francois, but the booby bird steps on Francois' hand, causing him to let go and fall in the water. Zuma saves him, and Cap'n Turbot is able to ask the booby bird for its picture. The bird agrees, and even poses for it. Back on the Flounder, Cap'n Turbot mentions that once he learns more of the booby bird's nature and habitat, more will migrate to Adventure Bay. Francois, traumatized by his encounter, asks that not happen, much to everyone's laughter.
Back at the Lookout, Cap'n Turbot presents a picture of the booby bird to Ryder as thanks, and when both Turbots spot Rubble on his skateboard, Rubble, in a show of good faith at not being jealous of Francois anymore, offers him a ride on it. However, Francois shows he is a very bad skateboarder, and crashes into Cap'n Turbot. In the end, the Turbots share a high-five, and everyone laughs as the story comes to an end.
