Living together in a decaying commune called the Glasshouse, the luminaries of art's most controversial scene wrestle with a city inclined to be rid of them, an art world being bought out by the rich, and years of wild living and simmering grudges. When founding figure Jacques dies and Lexia, a mysterious Bosnian stray is added to the mix...

Yes, I say yes, I like it. Its a good movie in a fine quiet flow. It contains love, suspense, humour, music and literature, wow.
They all are good actors; there is not one scene of overacting inside; and it's set with really good music at the right time, good places, beautiful ambiances and colors, transporting the feelings that one needs. It's touching me with its surrealism in reality, in there I find a lot of aspects of true life and it is full of good ideas from the beginning yet. Its something to enjoy.
Using the hidden Alice themes (Alice in Wonderland and Through the looking glass) represented by this giant bird and splitting the conscious of the the girl in the mirror reflecting past present and future is quite genius. It's not easy to discover. ;-)
As much as I can understand, its a work from high cultural aspirations and quality with a well structured totally chaos and a modern tale of human crazyness.
Last but not least they have chosen very interesting characters :-) Prefering discreetly the colours blue and red, the colours of blood circulation and maybe the best of all is that I can't compare it with any other movie I've ever seen.
I am hoping that it could reach the state as a kind of a special cult film! I can't believe, that this film is not available on the market. To don't know what happens next, is an important sign for a good remarkable movie. It indicates open mind and the makers of the film got it.
Still I do not understand everything, not the deep and the wideness of the hole story, but ... it's a good reason to watch it again!
