Storyline

Despite doing whatever humanly and technically possible, the guys are unable to obtain tickets to this year's Comic-Con through legitimate means as the tickets are all sold out. Leonard, Howard and Raj decide that they will get tickets from a scalper, which Sheldon refuses to do as if they are caught, they will be banned from Comic-Con for life. Leonard, Howard and Raj have to decide if this little seed of information is enough to scare them off from doing what bad boys would do and proceed to buy the tickets through a scalper. Sheldon's plan is instead to start his own comic book convention. He goes on a search for at least one science fiction celebrity who would appear as a headliner at his convention, barring those who have restraining orders against him already. Sheldon's celebrity stalking doesn't turn out quite the way he expected. Meanwhile, Penny, Amy and Bernadette go on a quest to do something that makes them feel grown-up that they would like and not just something that ... Written by Huggo

Trivia

Sheldon's whiteboard of possible guests includes Mark Hamill, Harrison Ford and Carrie Fisher, but omits James Earl Jones. This may be a hint to the fact that the first two Star Wars films (Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope (1977) and Star Wars: Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back (1980)) initially only credited Hamill, Ford and Fisher, but not Jones as the voice of Darth Vader. However, it was later revealed that this was by Jones' own request, since he believed that full credit for playing Vader should go to David Prowse who performed the role on screen. By the time that Star Wars: Episode VI - Return of the Jedi (1983) was released, Jones was okay with being credited, since he was widely known as 'the voice of Darth Vader' by then. Jones' name was later added to the credits of the Special Edition of both movies. See more »

Goofs

On Sheldon's list for possible guests to his comic-con, he has Stan Lee, Leonard Nimoy, and Bill Nye. Sheldon has restraining orders from all three and since he is not one to break the law he never would consider asking any of them. He does, however, ask Leonard to contact them as he is not allowed to. See more »

Quotes

James Earl Jones: [looks up from his menu to see Sheldon standing there] Let me guess: you like Star Wars.
Sheldon Cooper: [nods]
James Earl Jones: You know I've been in other movies.
Sheldon Cooper: [nods again]
James Earl Jones: But you don't care about those, do you?
Sheldon Cooper: [shakes his head]
James Earl Jones: [motions Sheldon closer] I have one thing to say to people like you: I like Star Wars too! Care to join me?
Sheldon Cooper: Thank you! My friend Leonard said if I bothered you while you were eating, you'd think I was a creepy stalker.
James Earl Jones: Well, your friend Leonard sounds like a real weenie!
Sheldon Cooper: He is, Mr. Earl Jones, he is!

Bad Ending
30 January 2014 | by googlyrajzSee all my reviews

Okay, episode started with great laughter.. everyone trying to get the ticket to comic con.. pressing the refresh button infinite time.. it was getting funnier and funnier. But where i felt show lacked is the ending,. they didn't show what happened to Leonard,Howard and Raj did they come out of that trouble or not? did they even meet the man! what happened nothing is shown

i would say the show was a Sin(x) graph from interval 0 TO Pie.. that is first it got funnier and funnier and eventually it became boring

Asusual Penny,Bernedate And Amy Fowler had the girl talks .. really boring.. i am fed up of this. i still miss that Season 1 of the The big bang theory.. when there were only guys and penny <3. there was more of Science which is the concept of the show.. no i don't know where this show is heading on.. please put the show on the track.. include some science and please throw Amy out of the show ..she is really pathetic.
