The body of elderly businesswoman Ranya Habib is found at a suicide spot but foul play is suspected after a neighbour tells Ronnie he heard her arguing with somebody. Ranya was meeting Egyptian doctor Yafeu Elsayed, whom Ronnie suspects of terrorism though he claims to be Ranya's specialist. CCTV footage links Ranya's daughter-in-law Safia to the crime scene and she is arrested and charged with murder. However it transpires that Safia opposed Ranya's desire for Safia's little daughter Laila to be subject to genital mutilation by Elsayed and Kate tips off Sania's lawyer Madeline Morgan to this effect, as well as persuading Joe to prosecute Elsayed for causing actual bodily harm to women. This alters everything. Written by don @ minifie-1

It hurts to run. It hurts to walk. It hurts to bleed every month.

A couple was in a rush because the woman was about to give birth to a child. In their way to the hospital, they had to stop the car because a dead body lied on the ground, probably a woman had committed suicide by jumping out of a bridge. Anyway detectives soon realized there was too little blood stains for such a fall, maybe the death had occurred somewhere else and the perp dragged the body to stage a suicide; furthermore, the victim wore a fancy gown in a chilly night. She was from Arabic origin and lived in a classy neighborhood: early in the morning she met an Egyptian doctor (Akin Gazi) at the airport and Brooks at first didn't rule the terrorism pattern out, but he had to see the murder under different angles due to his boss pressure (he's afraid of Egypt consulate reaction). The victim had a son get used to arguing with his wife over something related to religious issue involving her daughter (they sleep in different bedrooms as a result). All become clear after detectives figure out what kind of surgery the doctor performs.....

An episode in which we can see the hardship some cultures have to face to cope with western culture. Olds habits are hard to break, even if they lead to terrible pain all over the lifespan.
