Goofs

At Sunday Dinner, Danny says that the dead guy killed someone's daughter. In fact, it was an unborn son who was killed, not a daughter. Above is "Incorrectly Regarded as a Goof." Shut his eyes
3 February 2017 | by bkoganbingSee all my reviews

Some truly cowardly thugs play a certain game where they just go up and punch out a random stranger. You have to truly be a brave one to do that to a pregnant Rose Hemingway. She loses the baby and her husband Jack Segarra just can't handle it.

There's a crisis here for Donnie Wahlberg. When Segarra decides to take matters in his own hands Wahlberg would just like to shut his eyes. He's one determined cop, but he's also a husband and father as well.

The other part of this episode concerns an uncomfortable position that Tom Selleck is placed in by Len Cariou and an old police buddy of his. They're trying to push hard for a promotion for a young grandson of the friend who might not be ready.

I think Selleck was a little too goody goody here. Nepotism and hooks do exist in the police and probably there more than in a lot of places.

Seeing Wahlberg interrogate one of the punch out punks is worth seeing this story for that alone.
