A submerged self wakes up in a laboratory. Gradually we understand that it's the subjective perspective of Ypsilon, a human brain being kept alive artificially. With black humour and with focus on the human relations, we follow Ypsilon's path from mere consciousness to the development of a personality. Based on P C Jersild's controversial novel from 1980. It is a special challenge. Smart, amusing, thrilling. About life, a signature and the others. A water tank. A brain inside it. And , step by step, a fascinating metamorphosys. It reminds many Sci. Fi. films. But it is more than a short Sci. Fi. It reminds many comedies. But it is not exactly a comedy. A film proposing questions. Or a sort of modern fairy tale. Or, just more simple, a challenge. An usefull one.
