Trivia

Whilst hiding from prowling Working Joes, the player may witness them stop and jog in place. This is a reference to the first film, in which Ash does the same before monitoring the away team. It is believed, by some, that this action is basically a maintenance protocol to keep the Synthetics loose. Ridley Scott suggests something similar in his directors' commentary for "Alien". Really worth while.

I just got around to playing this one and can't think of why I hadn't sooner. Amazing nostalgia trip after amazing nostalgia trip, they pulled out the original cast and score for this one and it's awesome. My favorite movie in the Alien franchise is the first one and this game feels familiar and is a real homage to that 1979 film. If you're a fan of the franchise, pick this one up. I haven't played Colonial Marines (did see a lot of gameplay and reviews) and thankfully this game is nothing like it, this game is probably the Alien game you've always wanted.
