Storyline

In a world where so many are searching for meaning, we now have the opportunity, for the first time in human history, to be part of something absolutely amazing. We, the generations alive right now, could be the ones to end hunger and extreme poverty everywhere. We've cut both in half since 1970, and now it's time to finish the job...to make poverty history. EVERY THREE SECONDS tells the compelling stories of five everyday people (a kid, a college student, a thirty-something and two seniors) who stepped up and took action in the fight against hunger and poverty, and who, in the process, ended up both transforming themselves and changing the world. Invest an hour and a half - You won't be sorry!

This is an incredibly inspiring film! We were riveted by it - and we didn't expect to be. It was fascinating, extremely well-done and not at all overwhelming, as many documentaries seem to be when they are trying to encourage people to make a change. The stories are of people - ordinary people - around the world who have made a real difference in the health and welfare of other people. We only wish it was longer, as each of the stories were ones that we could relate to. We have lots to think about after watching, and we'll definitely never see the world the same way again. Watch it - It is, by far, the best documentary we've seen in a LONG time.
