A FISTFUL OF SCRIPTS v2.audio - Podcast of studio recordings of scripts with full cast (recorded Jul - Nov 2016). Cast interviews were also recorded simultaneously. The script-readings and cast interviews are now presented for online audiences as an ongoing podcast series via content licensing and distribution platforms: ACast, Spotify etc. Produced as a podcast vehicle, A Fistful of Scriptsv2.audio is a series of studio recordings of scripts with full cast. Cast interviews were also recorded. A FISTFUL OF SCRIPTS and A FISTFUL OF SCRIPTS v2.audio brings to life the vision of creatives such as writers, directors and producers as well as clients. In addition to its role as a proven script development incubator for theatre and film, A Fistful of Scripts officially evolved into a production and distribution vehicle of audio content. In August 2010, A Fistful of Scripts established as a live script reading series with Q and A session for audiences. It ran for 5 seasons at Theatre Works, St Kilda Melbourne Australia until Aug 2012. A FISTFUL OF SCRIPTS v2.audio - established in mid-2016 as a production vehicle for extensive audio projects based around themes of social inclusion. 'HEART OF REX' by Dr Fiko Doss. This script was cast and in pre-production as the sixth cast recording. Call sheets were sent out to all actors who had accepted these roles. At the last minute - the day before the scheduled recording - two to three cast members pulled out of their commitments, making themselves unavailable. Due to availability of recording studio and its related bookings, producer Sean McIntyre had to cancel the planned cast recording outright. He still harbour's the ambition to record this script. Four years earlier in mid 2012, 'HEART OF REX' by Dr Fiko Doss was presented in a 'live' script reading format at Sean McIntyre's innovative script development incubator: 'A Fistful of Scripts' at Theatre Works, St Kilda Melbourne Australia.. During the audience Q & A immediately afterwards, the audience and cast wholeheartedly rated this script of exceptional quality. This feedback was communicated back to the writer who resides in the UK. Dr Fiko Doss later completed a PhD in poetry at University of Surry, UK.
