Will argues that Alicia used undue influence in getting Ashbaugh to change his will. Kalinda continues vetting Damian Boyle but runs up against a detective who owes Boyle a favor and seems intent on keeping her in jail, at least overnight. Alicia agrees to invite Peter to the new firm's Christmas party and has to invite mother-in-law Jackie as well - but forgets to invite her own mother. Eli's not too pleased with Peter's decision to attend when he sees the guest list. Written by garykmcd

Matthew Ashbaugh, played by John Noble, previously appeared in episode 4.18, The Good Wife: Death of a Client (2013). See more »

When Alicia first remembers Will's hand on her leg in the meeting with Matthew Ashbaugh in his apartment, her dress is blue, however later when Will remembers his hand on her leg, her dress is red.

The film makers are making an obvious point to show that two people remember the same incident in different ways. There are two additional scenes in which 1) Alicia remembers the dress as blue and 2) Will remembers the dress as red. See more »

User Reviews

I made an IMDb account for this episode
2 December 2013 | by clmohnSee all my reviews

I've always enjoyed the good wife. But the past 6 or 7 episodes have been absolutely amazing. Easily the most enjoyable show on television this year.

The writing, the acting, and the directing have all cylinders running. You even get the feeling that everyone on the show is having a blast with every episode.

I made an IMDb account to rate tonight's show and write this review. It was almost magical.

Thank you for that.
