Alejandro, a resourceful street orphan on the verge of adolescence, lives and works in an auto-body repair shop in a sprawling junkyard on the outskirts of Queens, New York. In this chaotic world of adults, Alejandro struggles to make a better life for himself and his sixteen-year-old sister.
this movie reminds me of some other franchise...it's on the tip of my tongue...
and falls under, ya gotta be kidding me, in comparison... it's kind of amazing, though, that they can come so close in imitating and not get sued by, what must be, a very powerful(considering the money THEY made from their movies) company. i'm thinking the philosophy behind this movie was...well, now that one of their main characters is dead for real, maybe there'll be room for another? hard to say...but maybe. if the budget is as small as it seems, just maybe... and maybe there'll be a sequel with just a bit more 'juice' behind it and it'll be worth the time. who knows...considering the stunts in the original series, anything is possible...
