Descrizione

  • opens the episode with a statement about the 2012 Christmas episode "Rough Trade Santa" having been rejected by the Fox executives and, after fan complaint from all over the world and heavy edits, the episode will be shown.

Christmas 2012: Will () tells the kids their theme for the Christmas tree decoration contest is "Green Is Good". Sam (Joy to the World", but everyone tells him to shut up.

In McKinley High's Non-Denominational Christmas Club, Artie () tells the gang their Nativity scene was defaced. Principal Figgins has authorized a living replacement. Jake () and Artie decline to answer.

In New York, Santana () has stopped by and exchanges presents with Kurt () shows up and says she's gotten them a gig as elves at Santa Land.

Becky () approaches Sam and Tina with mistletoe on her hat demanding a French kiss. Sue arrives and overhears Tina's comments about her letting Becky get away with everything. She admits she's been treating Becky poorly and given her the impression the rules don't apply to her. Sue informs them that she will be judging the decorating contest.

The Santa (M. C. Gainey) Kurt, Rachel, and Santana are working with turns out to be an obnoxious drunk. To help keep the antsy kids happy they sing "Here Comes Santa Claus", but this only ends with them being booed.

Kitty () is being particularly nasty to Marley (Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree" while working on their decorations.

With Santa a no-show for work, Kurt and Rachel tell the kids Mrs. Claus will be standing in. It's Santana dressed in a rather revealing outfit. She has kids sit on her lap and tell her what they want, but most of Santana's responses are inappropriate.

Sue judges the Glee club's tree. They have an answer for all of her green-related questions. She seems impressed.

Beiste and Will judge the manger auditions. Unique (), Marley, and Tina sing "Mary's Boy Child". Beiste loves it and asks for last-minute auditions. Kitty leaves.

An attractive man named Cody () shows up to play Santa. Kurt is smitten and Santana even admits that "her girl-loving vagina is getting tingly". To get to know them better as elves, he suggests dinner at their place that night.

Sue announces that the runners-up for the decoration contest are the Biology club, the 420 club, and the football team, and goes on to proclaim the Glee club as the winners. Angry at having lost, Becky destroys her xylophone.

Kitty has more snark for Marley after she's chosen as Mary. Kitty admits that she's upset that as a Christian she doesn't have the spirit and compares herself to Mary Magdalene.

Cody is impressed with Kurt and Rachel's apartment. They mention having met in Glee club and he pulls out a helium tank for a rendition of "The Chipmunk Song (Christmas Don't Be Late)". They seem to be drinking heavily.

Becky gives Tina and Sam the gift of her baby teeth. She says she feels like a loser after her tree entry was criticized by Sue.

Rachel and Santana talk about the latter moving to New York. They find Kurt and Cody fooling around in the kitchen. The next morning Rachel and Santana wake up hungover to find that Cody has robbed them. They find Kurt bound and gagged in the bedroom.

Tina and Sam decide to give their angel decoration prize to Becky. They think they have an idea to convince Kitty to play Mary.

During the Nativity dress rehearsal, Unique plays the virgin Mary and she sings "Love Child" with the New Directions. Afterwards Kitty is shocked, calling it "the most sacrilegious and profane horror show I've ever seen", and says they have to do it the "right way". They give her the part of the virgin Mary; Kitty not realizing that it was all a set-up for her to take over.

Sam and Tina give Becky the prize, telling her there was a recount. They also offer her a part in the living Nativity.

Rachel returns to the apartment, informing Kurt and Santana that Cody had also robbed Santa Land and that they have all been fired, but she has a new plan: they're singing mannequins inside a department store window.

Becky arrives to the Nativity scene dressed as the Baby Jesus. And Kitty looks perfect. They sing "Away in a Manger" which Kurt, Rachel, and Santana sing simultaneously to a crowd.
