Four years into his first stable relationship, a man finds out that he is pregnant with his partner's baby.
So I remember seeing the trailer a few years back when it first came out and it sounded like a smart and funny premise. Never did see it as we live in the streaming era when there are a billion other movies I watched instead. But about a month ago I found it on the Apple Store .99 cent rentals and thought I'd give it a chance...
Within the first third I saw how unlikable the main character was that I couldn't even laugh at the what could have been funny plot. He's some pseudo intellectual, stereotypical pompous douche parading around as a relatable mess. His jokes were never funny. On top of that he seems like the actual character irl. Those types of people you'd want to punch after meeting them only once and then actually doing it the second.
