A premiere we deserved!

The walking dead season 5 premiere has become one of the best premiere since the pilot . The blood , the violence , the emotions , the history , the return are key words on this episode . In fact , it was so well done that the episode just flew past the viewers .

Season 5 has started off promisingly . The make up was outstanding and the zombies look gnarly as hell. Some scenes will make you grab tight your pillow , sofa or whatever your sitting on .

We can see the slow but steady transformation that I'm sure is just beginning of Farmer Rick to Bada** Rick . Greg Nicotero has done a phenomenal job with the opener , he deserves some credit as well. Scott M. Gimple requires equal praise as the show runner . The way the last 3 episodes of season 4 came out was really well done and this episode lives up to every bit of it, if not better.

The episode ended satisfying many for sure , but I'd recommend sitting down for a little longer if the fans really want to loose their sh**.

Trivia
Was watched by 17.3 million viewers in its initial airing, setting the record for the most watched non-sports cable broadcast in television history, surpassing the 17.2 million record set by High School Musical 2 (2007).

Goofs
As the group leave what is left of Terminus Rick marks a sign, "No Sanctuary". The group is LEAVING Terminus, the sign should be facing the other way.

Quotes
[Gareth talks to Rick before the Terminus men slit open his throat]
Gareth: We saw you go into the woods with a bag and come out without it. Had to pull my spotters back before we could go look for it. What was in it? You hid it, right? In case things went bad? Smart. Still, we'll find it. But it's too dangerous to go out there right now.
[pulls Bob forward with a knife aiming to his eye]
Gareth: What was in it? I'm curious. And it was a big bag.
[pause]
Gareth: You really gonna let me do this?
Rick Grimes: Let me take you out there. I'll show you.

[brings the knife closer to Bob's eye]
