Dating the Devil

A one star rating is being kind to this trashy, unentertaining, garbage. "Angie" the friend was DISGUSTING, you would seriously show up for a tv interview dressed like that? She made me physically ill just looking at her, and her language was atrocious. Another issue I had with this show in general, is the use of stupid badly drawn cartoons for reenactments. Is the target audience supposed to be children, because last time I checked that's the age group that finds cartoons acceptable entertainment? Instead of watching a crime show I felt like I was watching a lost episode of, "The Simpsons" or "Family Guy" which made me feel dirty. This is a HORRIBLE show and if you don't like feeling dirty after watching certain shows, then don't watch this piece of putrefied garbage. This show is meant for a specific audience and if you don't watch the above mentioned shows, then you know what kind of audience this show is directed towards. Just saying.

(reviewing each episode separately as each one is its own contained story) The first episode of this series takes us on a harrowing story with disturbing body cam footage and a story about a man who seemed like a nice guy at first, but soon turned out to be a monstrous serial murder. Luckily his girlfriends survived him but at the expense of his torture. In the ends, he ends up killing 2 people on the run and went the cowardly way out by killing himself, but at least he's not out in the world abusing any more people. I don't recommend this to people who are sensitive to material like this because it's disturbing, but the direction and interviews are very important for awareness to abusive people in power.

The cycle of abuse and victimhood never changes. It goes from sick disturbed person to disturb person and if people who have abuse in their lives have children they pass on the illness to them just like any hereditary disease. Either you become the monster or you become a victim to someone else. Sick ill people attract sick and ill people. People with healthy emotions, personal boundaries, grounded morals and values do not let sickos into their lives and sickos are not attracted to them because having a healthy mentality and emotions is like a force field against these kind of people. If you've grown up with an abusive or controlling or psychopathic caregiver it is part of your everyday life and you will not see signals and red flags from other disturbed people or other victims. If you ever find yourself in a situation from a man like this, He does not love you He does not care about you He is completely utterly using you and you have any shred of self-esteem and self-worth left reach out to every person possible for support, find government programs, involve yourself with the police and get yourself away.. your life may depend on it.
