Storyline

Dr. Gary Lembart, an old but lively, headstrong GP in Cornwall, loses his driving license. So he hires competent gardener Melanie Brown to maintain his ancestral estate and drive him. Anglo-Spanish aquatic sportsman Jose Cullen develops a stormy relationship with her, centering about her dark past, with a jail sentence a drug courier, for which she sought 'compensation' by stealing from the drug lord, who is tracking her down. Gary's senior friends, the Shaws, return from their devalued, disappointing Spanish 'home' to help relative widow, Gary's ex Erica Edwards, move into a rest home, which proves even less satisfactory. Gary invites them all to move in with him, never mind his daughter's pleas to sell the estate. For a living, Gary is confident the can market local produce, all the way to London if necessary. An adultery note in a diary upsets the delicate . Written by KGF Vissers
