There's not that many movies that really show an invisible disability. Disabilities are always seen as a physical disability, ignoring the fact that there are also people who have disabilities and it's not noticeable. I have an invisible disability. You can't tell that I am disabled or not: that's the difference.
I found myself relating to Mark because of this fact. Not all disabilities can be seen and you can't tell if someone has one or not. I found myself attached to Marks pain.
Confronting the bullies that caused the pain is really hard. Especially if the bullies actually have caused a traumatic experience: it's really difficult to feel safe afterwards. Welcome to Marwen did an amazing job at showing the ptsd of any tbi enduced problems
