Goofs

About 20 minutes in, after Dinah is kidnapped, Sara "answers" a phone call from Nyssa, just after speaking with her father back at the hospital. While she clearly answers and talks on the phone, you can, also clearly, see on the phone screen and reflected on her face the ANSWER and REJECT call button images, meaning she didn't actually answered the incoming call, all this during a full conversation with Nyssa on the other side. Quotes

Moira Queen: I hope my decision to run against you for mayor against you doesn't affect your relationship.
Sebastian Blood: Out of respect for that relationship, can I offer for some advice?
Moira Queen: Please.
Sebastian Blood: Get out. Now.
Moira Queen: The fact that you are advising me to get out before I announce my candidacy suggests that you are threatened.
Sebastian Blood: I'm apprehensive about destroying my friend's mother.
Moira Queen: I can take care of myself.
Sebastian Blood: Really? During your trial you portrayed yourself as a fragile creature living under Malcolm Merlyn's thumb. So, which is it? ...

Few Comparisons. It's that good.

I am stunned. I just watched what can only be described as a near flawless 40 minute script. Every aspect was spot on: The pacing, execution, dialog... all of it gelled. And for the first time, in my view, Laurel brought her character to life. Bravo to she and everyone in the cast. I'm still racing. The last time I experienced something like this was in the last season of "24," and that's saying a lot. First, there were several revelations that created monumental shifts in character relationships. Second, the script pulled more from the characters than in any of the past episodes by forcing the leads to face themselves as human beings, as families, as flawed individuals with facades that, in some cases, were never destined to stand. In the end, it's what's at the core that counts, and this episode brought that home.
