Storyline

A modern billionaire goes missing after buying the 'ancestral', allegedly haunted mansion of Ichabod's contemporary Lachlan Fredericks, who made it a haven for arts, merriment and safe liberty for all, even Abbie's slave-born ancestors. Ichabod makes the link, so she's found walled-in by a thorny vine, which is awoken by attempts to cut it, while her bodyguard is already killed. The book collection inside strikes Ichabod as identical to his wife's, which a letter snide proves. He wonders about her Covent's witchcraft part in evil taking over. Written by KGF Vissers
