Rick, Carl and Michonne are getting ever closer to Terminus. They've had a rough time on the road and can only hope that what they find there is better than what they have now. In the night, they are taken prisoner by Joe and the others. It's clear that Rick is the man they've been hunting but Daryl tries to explain that they are good people. Joe won't hear any excuses. When it appears that Carl is about to be raped, Rick shows just how violent he is prepared to be to defend his family and friends. When they finally reach Terminus everything seems to be order - until Rick sees someone using the watch Hershel gave Glenn. Written by garykmcd

This is the only episode in which we see somebody else other than Rick and Carl wear the original sheriff hat. In the scene, Rick tells Carl that he needs a farming hat, and places the sheriff hat over Beth's head; saying that there's a new sheriff in town. See more »

This episode was not that great.
30 March 2014 | by tbrunningbare2See all my reviews

This episode is not what I have come to expect from the writers of the show. It has too many flashbacks, and had very little to do with what is actually going on in the present. The writer of this episode got this vision of grandeur about the episode and completely missed the mark on it. Trying to take us back to get a complete idea about Rick is what he said on The talking dead, but this is inaccurate as he did not go back to where it began, he just wanted to fill the episode of clips so that he can continue the story line in the next season. Overall, this is a prime example of why people get upset about this "Poetic license" That screen writers and producers use when adapting books into movies.
