Storyline

Rick, Carl and Michonne are getting ever closer to Terminus. They've had a rough time on the road and can only hope that what they find there is better than what they have now. In the night, they are taken prisoner by Joe and the others. It's clear that Rick is the man they've been hunting but Daryl tries to explain that they are good people. Joe won't hear any excuses. When it appears that Carl is about to be raped, Rick shows just how violent he is prepared to be to defend his family and friends. When they finally reach Terminus everything seems to be order - until Rick sees someone using the watch Hershel gave Glenn. Written by garykmcd

Trivia

Carl hears someone calling for help. He, Rick, and Michonne get there in time to see a walker eating a man's eye from his head. This was a contradictory reference to a song by Jonathan Coulton, "Re: Your Brains", about zombies which includes in the chorus the lines, "All we wanna do is eat your brains / We're not unreasonable / I mean, no one wants to eat your eyes". Goofs

The little recon, way of entering, lack of leaving backup on the outside, etc. are as if Rick and the others have completely forgotten their experiences with Woodbury and The Governor. See more »

Quotes

[first lines]
Maggie Greene: [in a flashback, Maggie arrives back to the prison with a smile on her face as she sees her father Hershel] Hi, Daddy.
Hershel Greene: [Hershel smiles] You're a sight for sore eyes.

Not a season finale
31 March 2014 | by stormsysSee all my reviews

The episode was good but not worthy of a season final.

The flashbacks were out of place with no real benefit to the story. Episode 14 was more worthy of season finale status then this.

Recently it feels like more and more Walking Dead has started doing story lines spanning from half-season to half season(s3e8 - s4e8 and s4e8-s5e8) way too many loose ends.

As other reviews state its just not what i expected given Walking Dead's track record.

Rant over, the episode if we ignore that it was a season finalle was decent, lots of twists, turns and surprises.
