Klaus Mikaelson: I love my family. You, Elijah, I loved all of you. I know I can be difficult, but I did not make myself that way. It was Mikael who ruined me.
Rebekah Mikaelson: He ruined me too, that's what you forget. Centuries later, each of us is broken. powerful performance by Claire Holt

Farewell to Rebekah... No, I cannot believe that. Surely not? Gonna pop up in some future episode, certainly. But it does seem that Claire Holt was, uhm, fickle. I mean, there was that short-lived stint on PRETTY LITTLE LIARS. Most conspicuously, she was the one who backed out of H2O JUST ADD WATER. Be that as it may, it seems as if Claire told the scriptwriters to pull out all the stops. "Gimme something I can sink my teeth into!" And this was it. She is the star of this episode, playing a wide range of emotions. In my own opinion, the events here are anti-climactic after the previous episode's cliffhanger. It all dulls down... then sparks up again... but nothing like what was expected for this confrontation. I dropped this note, however, to praise Claire. And this is really praiseworthy. I liked the ending. Blonde driving sports car. Never fails to remind me of Tara Reid in BOOGIE NIGHTS.

And so she rides off...
