Siddharth is one actor who chooses interesting projects, and with him in the lead, I was excited to watch. Sadly, at the same speed, I was disappointed too.
The film tells the story of a man who meets with an accident, only to find that two years of his memory have been erased. He falls in love with a girl who has a connection to him, further complicating his life.
The movie has an interesting premise, but due to a poor screenplay, it takes the wrong turn. There is no character development, making it difficult to connect with anyone. A fast-paced narrative does not allow you to absorb the emotions the makers are trying to convey. Whether it is romance or friendship, the story remains superficial, never exploring anything in depth, ultimately making this movie nosedive.
Siddharth is an excellent actor, and he performs his part earnestly. However, an actor can only do so much, and even he couldn't save the botched script. Ashika Ranganath, as the leading lady, is a miscast, as she maintains a singular expression throughout the film. For a romance movie, the lack of chemistry between the leads is a major problem.
Every now and then, the movie breaks into songs, which not only hamper the flow but also become irritating. The songs are bad, and strangely, every one of them is a lip-synced dance number that makes no sense in the context of the story. The villains, being politicians, come across as mere jokers, as they fail to do anything to the common people who oppose them.
Lacking emotions, depth, and even logic, this rom-com drama could put you to sleep. Best to avoid it for your own good.
