This was filmed in a Napoleonic fort in Dover called the Drop Redoubt.
The Fort won 6 awards at the Berlin Indie Film Festival in March 2022. Awards were all Winners for: Best Feature, Best Actor, Best Historical Film, Best Sound Design and Best Original Score.
The cast and crew premiere for The Fort was delayed due to the pandemic. It was originally planned for May 2020 and eventually took place in December 2021.
The film had its first theatrical presentation on 12th March 2023 at the new Phoenix in Leicester.
Film was screened at The Oasis Lounge, Leicester on 6th December 2023.
