Watched it during a flight in "Korean air theater" and loved it from the first look. How long I had not seen such pleasant, clever, arising thoughts film.
It is a light comedy, as only Italians can film, however deep ideas are enclosed in it. It is not only about relationship between ill father and son, not only a love story. It is about a contradiction between performing traditions of a high level formed during centuries in Italian culture and new worlds-style shows, simple and sex based, which are taking over. This movie about choice of person who recognized his responsibilities before his nation, neighbors, friends. The film also introduces us the principles of "Del Arte".
I desired to show it to my family and keep in my collection, but could not find. It is not famous. Probably, because there is no dirt, perverts and psychos.
