Luther: The Fallen Sun

Unbelievable. What is it with Idris and taking up these bad roles? First it was Beast and now this. I know Idris is an amazing actor and his performance in here was exceptional but the script was terrible. The first half of the movie was really good, I loved the pace, the cinematography was great and the story seemed well thought of and quite clever. I was actually rooting for the antagonist.

Then suddenly everything just went downhill very quickly. It's like they knew they had to end it at some point so they came up with a rather weak climax, which to me, destroyed the hardwork put into the first half of this movie.

But it wasn't that bad, it had it's moments and I've definitely seen worse movies this year alone. Good for a one time watch only.
