Conscious Dreaming follows the journey of three beginners trying to get their first lucid dream with the help of lucid dreaming experts. Lucid dream is when the dreamer is aware that he or she is dreaming. They don't wake up but instead can control the events in the dream. Interviews with sleep researchers, regular lucid dreamers and lucid dreaming teachers reveal more in-depth information about how lucid dreaming has been researched, what it feels like, how it can be learned, and what kind of benefits practicing lucid dreaming can have. After three months of practicing the techniques we see if any of the subjects have managed to get a lucid dream, and how the experiment has affected them.
