Correct, touching , honest. Not last, in some measure, realistic.

A film about the manner to assume your sexual identity , the inevitable girl friend of a young homosexual, the story of abyss of a good friend, accepting, after a serious bullying incident, his death as only reasonal solution and killing himself and a sort of revelation saving him by the skin of self guilty .

Sure, not impressive, memorable or real surprising.

But good acting, fair story and the science to not reduce the facts to only the gay audience interest.

And , not doubts, this can be defined as a virtue. Or, maybe, as a good point, making it more than expression of good intentions.
