Simon has just been released from prison and is on parole. His friend, Albert, lures him back to his old ways for one more hit. To steal the priceless diamond Florentin. Simon's plan to steal the diamond goes sour. Others are also after the diamond, such as gangsters and ruthless killers.
A French heist and romance drama. The story is about a former convict on parole who is tempted by a former partner-in-crime into committing one last job: the theft of a diamond worth 40m euros. But, the con artist becomes enamored of the woman he is trying to con. This a punchy, well executed and entertaining drama which is meticulously staged and scored with a brassy, jazzy soundtrack. However, it is an old-school heist story and the plot gets progressively contrived. While the two leads give good performances, which transcend the superficial script, there's not much chemistry between the two leads about their romantic liaison.
